The Highest Interest Rate On NMB Bank's Savings, Up To 5.1 Percent, Is Also The Highest On Time
NMB has given the highest interest rate out of 27 commercial banks in operation. As per the new interest rate effective from Magh 1, the bank has announced the highest interest rate.
At present, deposits are accumulating in the banks and small depositors are receiving low interest rates on savings and the return on investment is not satisfactory. The highest interest rate of 5.1 percent has been paid to the general customers among other commercial banks. In addition, interest of up to 8.1 percent has been paid on time.
The NMB, which has won the Bank of the Year award three times in four years, seems to be focusing on lending, but said in a statement that it has come up with a plan to maximize interest rates so that small depositors do not suffer.
