Iceberg Beer re-entered the market [Available in both Strong and Premium brands]
Nepal's oldest beer 'Iceberg' has re-entered the market from Monday. CG Holdings, which owns most of the Himalayan Brewery, has acquired a new look, taste and label.
Iceberg, which was very popular in the Nepali market three decades ago, has come under new management and investment. The company claims that it is the only beer in Nepal to be produced using iceberg spring water produced by treating Godawari water.
The company said that various liquors of Trishakti Distillery, a subsidiary of Himalayan Brewery, have also been brought to the market with new labels. Iceberg's strong beer is said to contain seven percent alcohol.
Iceberg's premium beer is priced at Rs. 285 per 650 ml. Himalayan Brewery's Strong Segment Beer Commando is also available in the market. The company is confident that Iceberg will take over the market soon as it has become very familiar to Nepali consumers.
