Doctor's fee has increased from today, now one visit: -Rs.370 to 825
Doctors' fees have increased from today. A meeting of the Nepal Medical Association and the Association of Private Health Institutions Nepal (AFIN) has decided to increase the consultation fee for doctors. Accordingly, the OPD now has to pay a fee of Rs 370 to Rs 825 depending on the experience and qualifications of the doctor.
According to the new fee, MBBS and BDS doctors with less than 5 years of experience will be able to charge Rs 370 and those above 5 years will be able to charge Rs 450 OPD. Doctors who have passed MBBS and BDS and trained in diploma will be able to charge a fee of Rs.515.
Similarly, in the case of MD or MS and MDS doctors, they have to pay Rs. 660 as they have no experience for 5 years and more than Rs.700. Doctors with DMA and MCH with less than 5 years of experience will get Rs 770 and those with more than 5 years of experience will get Rs 825.
Similarly, MD MS and MDS doctors with more than 10 years of experience will be able to charge Rs 825. The service provider will be able to charge up to 20 percent. For example, when you visit an MBBS or MD doctor with more than 5 years of experience, you will be able to charge a fee of Rs. 700 for a doctor and a maximum of Rs.840.
