Data of millions of users of three popular Android VPNs has been hacked. The hacked data is currently on sale online. About 21 million user records of Super VPN, Gekyo VPN and Chat VPN have been leaked. This hack has leaked various sensitive data including user authentication credentials.
The leaked data includes the user's email address, payment data and premium account expiry data. According to the news, the hackers have also done data sorting for the potential buyers.
Information about the user's device has also been made public in the leaked database. Researchers have argued that this information could be used to launch Man in the Middle, or MITM Attack. However, the three companies have not yet officially confirmed the leaked news.
