Facilities up to Industry Tegistration, Tax Payment are provided through Citizen App: Minister Gurung
Minister for Communications and Information Technology Parbat Gurung has said that the Citizen App will be modified by adding new features. Speaking at an event , he said the app, which was launched to streamline government services from mobile, would be made more effective.
Minister Gurung also clarified that the complaints of the entrepreneurs about the hassle of running the industry and business from the registration process to paying taxes should not be heard after using the Citizen App.
Arguing that the Citizen App has been launched so that there is no need to go to the office for government services and no hassle, he stressed on the need of helping the entrepreneurs to make the campaign of paperless, faceless and online service flow successful.
In another context, he hoped that the government's Digital Nepal Framework program would cooperate with the electricity business as it has a relationship with electronic materials like nails and meat.
Meanwhile, Director General of the Department of Information and Technology Prem Sharan Shrestha said that the government is doing homework to correct the errors in the Citizen App and add new facilities. He said that the app is being modified as per the opinion of the service recipients and stakeholders.
Stating that the Ministry of Home Affairs will soon bring a facility to correct the errors found in the citizenship details from the mobile app, he said that the app will be more user-friendly after this.
