Opportunity To Get Loan Up To Rs 1.5 Million At 3 Percent Interest Rate For Those Who Want To Become Entrepreneurs





Rastriya Banijya Bank is going to give loan up to Rs 1.5 million at maximum interest rate of 3 percent for those who want to become entrepreneurs. The bank is going to provide concessional loan facility in collaboration with various agencies to create self-employment in the country.

For this, the youth based on the latest thinking has to present their concept. The government has urged the young entrepreneurs to take advantage of this new opportunity.

Speaking at the Youth Entrepreneurship Promotion Program, Minister for Communications and Information Technology Parbat Gurung said that the youth should take advantage of the new opportunity. He said that the government has introduced concessional loan program for the development of youth entrepreneurship.

Speaking at a program jointly organized by the Bagmati State Government, Rastriya Banijya Bank, Vishal Foundation and Uniglove College, Minister Gurung said that COVID 19 has introduced concessional loan program for young entrepreneurs to revive the weakened economy and create employment opportunities in the country by managing foreign employment.

Speaking on the occasion, Bhavani Rana, the current president of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), said that now is the time for those who want to start a startup business.



Similarly, Pawan Golyan, president of the Confederation of Banks and Financial Institutions and a senior entrepreneur, urged to use the new opportunities instead of sitting in the comfort zone and pointing out problems.

Similarly, Chief Executive Officer of Rastriya Banijya Bank Kiran Kumar Shrestha has urged to do business by making good use of the concessional loan as it is very cheap and simple.

Vishal Gaire, executive director of the Vishal Foundation and coordinator of the Idea Call program, said that free training and concessional loans would be provided to the youth who send their innovative ideas by mid-January.

According to him, the youths who want to become entrepreneurs throughout the month of January can submit the proposal of the Innovation Promotion Proposal (Startup Idea Call) through the website www.startupideacall.org.

The entrepreneurs who collect the proposals and send the best ideas from them will be given free training on entrepreneurship and concessional loan up to a maximum of Rs 1.5 million at a maximum interest rate of 3 percent through Rastriya Banijya Bank.
