One million doses of vaccine sent as a gift by the Government of India was launched today. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli inaugurated the campaign from his official residence Baluwatar at 10 in the morning. Minister for Health and Population Hridayesh Tripathi read out the President's message.
As soon as it is launched, 62 hospitals in all the seven states, 17 hospitals in the Valley and more than 120 vaccinated centers will be vaccinated at the same time. Similarly, vaccination will be provided through 300 vaccination centers in 77 districts. All of these hospitals are connected by virtual methods to Prime Minister Oli's inauguration program.
Initially, the government plans to give the vaccine to health workers and sanitation workers. The vaccine has reached all over the country.
