Ncell Axiata has brought 'Ncell Audio Class' targeting students. Students with Ncell SIM card can easily study various subjects as per their need anytime, anywhere through audio.
Ncell has stated that students can learn by listening to the lessons based on their curriculum from their mobile phones.
Curriculum-based educational materials can be learned from IVR using the phone through the mobile network. The service, based on Interactive Voice Response (IVR), is part of Ncell's 'Unpage' campaign. The service will expand access to education for customers and students, and will be of particular importance in the current crisis, Ncell said.
In the first phase, Ncell has provided courses for classes one to four in the audio class service. The company has stated that it will gradually add courses to students from class five to 10. Students will be able to easily access various subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies materials and lessons from any place with Ncell network coverage.
For this, customers can dial 17144 to activate the audio class service, according to Ncell.
Ncell has stated that there are currently two options available for audio class, three days and seven days. In the three-day pack, students can avail the service of 50 minutes of audio class for only Rs. 7 including tax. Similarly, the company has stated that one can avail the service of 100 minutes audio class for Rs 14 including tax in a seven-day pack.
At the end of a certain minute under an audio pack, customers can purchase the service by paying an additional Rs 7 for an additional 50 minutes of audio class service, the company said. For the first five months after launching the service, every new customer of the audio class can use the service for free for one week, Ncell said.
