Internet problems due to delay in Bandwidth approval
The Internet Service Providers Association of Nepal (ISPAN) has requested the regulatory Nepal Telecommunications Authority to facilitate bandwidth approval.
In a letter to NEA, ISPAN complained that it was taking a long time for bandwidth approval and requested for facilitation. ISPAN argues that delays in bandwidth approval have caused service providers to run into complications.
"We, the private sector internet service providers, are facing various problems due to the long delay in the bandwidth approval process even though the private sector internet service providers have submitted their agreements and required documents to the authority in a transparent manner," the letter said.
It is also mentioned in the letter that the private sector internet service providers are ready to hold further discussions for necessary facilitation and other work.
