According to a source, Pachand-Nepal, who has publicly stated that he will not become the Prime Minister in the new political environment, has taken the offer to become the Prime Minister. After the Supreme Court's decision, they rushed to Kathmandu without addressing the general assembly in Chitwan and reached Budhanilkantha to meet Deuba in the morning.
During a meeting between the three leaders at Deuba's residence in Budhanilkantha, Prachanda and Madhav Kumar Nepal made an offer to Deuba to become the Prime Minister. According to a high-ranking CPN (Maoist) source, Deuba was positive about the proposal made by Prachanda and Nepal during the 45-minute discussion between the three leaders.
Prachanda's press coordinator Vishnu Sapkota 'Jugal' also responded that the discussion was positive. He said that he had found that the leaders had agreed to move forward through understanding among the leaders. It is said that Deuba was also positive in the proposal of Prachanda and Madhav. He assured Prachanda Nepal that he would take a decision after discussions with other leaders of the party.
